About My Story
My journey in the animal world began back in 2012, when I started my career in veterinary practice. During that time, I gained invaluable experience working with a wide variety of animals — each one teaching me something new about patience, understanding, and communication. I went on to complete my Veterinary Nursing Diploma, which provided me with a strong foundation in animal anatomy, physiology, and overall health, and I also undertook a Nutrition Certificate, which helped me develop a deeper understanding of how diet plays a vital role in behaviour and wellbeing.
About My Story
It was around this time that I welcomed my sidekick, Raisin, a lively working Cocker Spaniel who’s been by my side ever since. Raisin has been my greatest teacher — reminding me daily how unique every dog is.
My passion for behaviour and training naturally grew from there. I completed my Canine Training Instructor Diploma with PACT (Professional Association of Canine Trainers), which deepened my understanding of how dogs learn and how we can best support them. I’m now continuing that journey by studying for my Diploma in Clinical Canine Behaviour with the Canine Behaviour College, working towards becoming a fully qualified Clinical Canine Behaviourist.
Co-operative Care
I’m also incredibly passionate about co-operative care. With over 13 years of experience in practice, it’s clear how many dogs come to the vets feeling fearful. Seeing dogs transform from complete fear to calm clarity just through simple steps is always so rewarding.
I’m still proud to work in practice, undertaking consultations, surgery, and anaesthesia. My mission has remained the same: to help dogs and their owners develop trust and clear communication, giving owners the knowledge and skills to unlock their dog’s real potential. I love empowering owners with the confidence to manage and overcome challenges day-to-day, resulting in that perfect life — whatever that looks like for you and your dog.
